The Story of Burkett’s Haunt

Burkett’s Haunt began in 1995 as a family-owned and operated attraction with one mission—to give visitors an unforgettable night of thrills. It all started with a 40-minute haunted hayride filled with terrifying scenes, eerie surprises, and plenty of heart-pounding moments. Guests crossed a spooky river, encountered fire-breathing dragons, watched giant gorillas lift part of the wagon, and experienced countless jump scares that made every ride one to remember.

As the years passed, we continued to grow and evolve to create an even better experience for our guests. We introduced a Haunted Corn Maze and a Haunted Woods, eventually retiring the hayride, which required more than 35 people to operate each night.

Today, our focus is on delivering an intense, immersive experience that puts you right in the middle of the terror. Journey through our Haunted Woods, where the darkness of the forest hides things you never see coming, then try to escape our Haunted Corn Maze, where every twist and turn could lead to your next nightmare.
